Two blocks from the ski lift, one block to the summer trail system, and a three-block walk to the center of town and free buses to everywhere. You can't beat this place for the price. Sleeps 4. Pivate Ski locker out the door!
Located at the historic base of Aspen mountain this property is right in the middle of it all. Koch park is immediately adjacent to the property for summer fun. The expansive Aspen trail system starts right from your door as well. Lift 1A is just two blocks out the front door, Gondola Plaza is just three blocks, and the heart of downtown Aspen is just two blocks as well. If location is your goal, this is hard to beat. Leave your car at home as you can walk or take the free RFTA buses anywhere in Aspen or its surrounding areas.
The unit is on the second floor via an outside staircase. There is no elevator. You enter the unit through two glass sliding doors. In the summer these can be opened to a fairly expansive common deck space with green space below perfect for relaxing in the sun with a good book.
Freshly remodeled, entering the unit there is a large living area complete with a sleeper sofa, game table, electric fireplace, and a TV with Comcast digital cable for when you choose to stay in. There are coat racks by the door to hang your active gear. Lightwoods and bright backsplash finishes really brighten the place up and make you feel good!
Continuing inward is a fully appointed kitchen with a wrap-around countertop and stool seating for three for breakfast. The kitchen has a brand new refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, four electric burners, a toaster, coffee maker, knives and cookware, as well as serving ware for four in case you want to have friends over for dinner.
In case you travel with work, across from the kitchen is a desk for all your productivity needs. Moving backward are two large gear closets, enough to swallow up anything you need. There is also a stackable private washer/dryer in the unit which will be stocked with detergent for mid-stay cleans. We have extra sheets and blankets at the ready in case someone needs to stay the night.
Across from the cabinets is a full bathroom complete with a new stand up glassed-in shower. Good vanity lighting and a wrap-around mirror will aid in getting ready for a night on the town.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, a walk-in closet, a TV with Comcast for nighttime movies as well as a private deck. The deck overlooks Dean St. with views of Red Mountain and Koch park, the perfect place to soak in some afternoon sun.
Our condo is convenient, basic, and affordable, everything you need for a perfect Aspen getaway.
