Lone Palm is your very own creative retreat, located less than 10 min from the majestic Joshua Tree National Park. Take in the breathtaking and unobstructed desert-landscape views in your own unique and peaceful desert getaway.
Looking for a place for family vacation? We've got you covered with a full kitchen & a ton of indoor/outdoor activities. Want to reconnect with friends? Come sit and relax in the hot tub and reminisce under the world famous dark starry skies in your own desert oasis.
THE SPACE
Lone Palm is a relaxing and comfortably furnished property with a spacious 1,100 sq ft floor plan packed with every amenity needed for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
We offer a fully stocked kitchen, a large dining area w/ seating for 4, eat-in kitchen, a livingroom with a tv w/ roku,, 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, concrete front and back porch sitting areas, back yard lounge and picnic table.
Comfortable sleeping arrangements include: 2 queen beds in each of the bedrooms.
The house is equipped with mini splits for both heating and cooling. They will easily keep the house cool during the summer and warm during the winter months.
THE OUTDOORS
Lone Palm beautiful views of untouched desert landscape in the distance make this a perfect place to unplug, rest, and serve as a comfy home base for your desert adventures.
The large backyard comes equipped with outdoor amenities including hot tub, out door dining and hammocks to lounge around for an incredible night of stargazing. The yard is fully fenced and wraps all the way around the corner lot to the front and we have included a propane BBQ grill for your use.
Your desert exploration starts right outside the front door with the Joshua Tree National Park (JTNP) Headquarters/Oasis Visitors Center just around the corner; an awesome Observatory 1 mile away; and the Joshua Tree National Park (29 Palms) North entrance, just a short few minutes drive away.
Zip in and out the Park through this less busy entrance and quickly access the JTNP's world class bouldering, climbing and hiking sites (Jumbo Rocks, Skull Rock, Hall of Horrors, Cap Rock, Arch Rock, Intersection Rock, Barker Dam, Hemmingway Buttress, Quail Springs and Hidden Valley) from the Adobe. Also easily access the picturesque Cholla Cactus Gardens, Indian Cove, and 49 Palms trail, a hot spot to occasionally catch big horn sheep sightings!
LAUNDRY
We offer the washer and dryer for guests staying longer then 3 nights or if you are traveling with small children. Please let us know if you will be needing laundry room access with the above requirements and we will have it unlocked for your arrival.
LIVING ROOM COUCH
Lone Palm has a queen size pullout mattress from the sofa couch which is in the living room.

There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation

Lone Palm is cooled and heated by mini splits in each room to keep you comfortable all year long.
• FIRE
Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.
If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.
• WASHER/DRYER
House has a washer and dryer available to guests that are staying with us for an extended period of 3 or more days. If you are traveling with an infant or young children please let us know and we will give you access to the laundry room.
• GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
• IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.
By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above.
