Welcome to Paradise! You found the perfect condo for your Hawaiian Vacation. 2-103 at the Surf & Racquet Club is a gorgeous, 2 bedroom, 2 bath DIRECT oceanfront ground floor property. This property has EVERYTHING you'll need. Wifi, Beach Gear, all available for your convenience.
The owners have extensively remodeled the entire Kitchen in March of 2017!! See the photos!
Unit#2-103 has the accommodations available to sleep 6! Air Conditioning available for use!
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting.
The large, newly remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to use.
The Big Island is also known as the golf capital of Hawaii with 16 courses, 11 that are located in West Hawaii.
The owners of Unit#2-103 want to provide the best service possible for their guests.
Property Manager will offer guests who book Unit#2-103 the following additional services as a benefit, to you, the guest!
1. You have a complimentary concierge service to make Activity Reservations if you so desire to utilize
2. Need us to go grocery shopping or pick up certain items from the store before you arrive? We can ensure everything is in the property waiting for you upon your arrival! (Additional Service Charge Will Apply)
3. Any guests who book 14 nights or longer will receive a Fruit Basket upon their arrival as a gift from the owner.
4. Face to Face Arrival/Departure Experience Offered Complimentary! All guests who book KKSR#2-103 have the option of meeting Property Management Staff upon their arrival to go over property specifics. We will turn on any fans/lights and ensure you enter into a comfortable inviting environment!

Loved the grass in front, as we could walk right out through the lanai with our coffee in the morning to the picnic table to look for dolphins, watch the boats and just enjoy the ocean! Great schools of Yellow Tangs were amazing for the whole family to see, even the one who didn't want to swim with them!!
Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club 2103. The facilities were
exceptional. If you would like to do some site seeing or simply
would like to go into town a car is a must. The bus service is very limited.
Pool was terrific - met several lovely people there, they were helpful in suggesting what to see and do.
The decor was exactly like I would have done myself. Very island feeling and tasteful. Felt like a big aloha hug. We opened the doors and listed to the surf all night. So amazing. We loved the quietness of being off of Alii Drive. Although we were steps away. There is a grocery store and a farmers market 1/4 mile away. The neighbors were friendly and the pool was big and clean. Some of the island's best snorkeling is walking distance from the unit.
Just an amazing 2 weeks in paradise! Highly recommended. Good for families with kids too.
The complex is gorgeous with tropical trees of all kinds and lovely birds.
We would definitely stay here again.

However, the condo is looking a bit tired. The furnishings are showing their age and even though the kitchen has been updated and the glass doors and window coverings are newer, some areas (such as the master bath) are in serious need of attention.
Also, the unit wasn't as clean as we've come to expect. There was a quantity of long hair left in the main bath and bedding of the rear bedroom. The exterior of the refrigerator needs a good srub. There were a number of light bulbs burned out - including both over the range, which made night time cooking a bit challenging!
The unit is for sale, so perhaps a new owner will address the issues. We were offered a nominal credit to accommodate a showing of the unit one afternoon - which was nice, but I had to send an email to the management company when it hadn't materialized a week after we left. A small item, but sometimes it's the minor things . . .
All said, we would probably rent this unit again. It is VERY reasonably priced when compared to other units at KKSR.
Looks like at one time there was some water damage. If folks upstairs are loud, you will hear it. I would suggest more sheets to accommodate sleeping on the pull out couch. Another bonus would be adequate pots and pans. The nonstick coating is coming off of some right into food. Otherwise, place is great. Pool was fun. Having items for beach was a bonus too.
Without air conditioning, the ceiling fans were not quite enough in the evening, but management brought fans ASAP which worked perfectly.
