Spacious Ka'anapali Shores one bedroom suite is furnished and features a remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances! The Sofa converts into a queen bed and there is comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully appointed and is stocked with all the cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils you need to cook your favorite meals and fill with your favorite foods, beverages and treats. There is a fabulous Farmers Market down the street with locally sourced fresh produce as well as a shopping center across the street for you to stock up on your favorite items.
The resort offers all the amenities of a AAA class full service resort with 463 rooms, two swimming pools, hot tub, restaurant, lounge, fitness center, spa, convenience store, tennis and shuffle board. The Garden Pool has an array of fun features including a new hot tub, multi-color LED lighting at night, waterfalls, tropical garden and other aquatic features. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the new Ocean Pool bar before spending a relaxing afternoon poolside. If you enjoy grilling by the beach, there are BBQs available on the resort's lush tropical grounds.
There are several restaurants and eateries close by. Java Jazz Restaurant and Bar is just across the street in the shopping center. They have great food and the music will keep you coming back! Down the street is Dolly's Pizza and Pub for great pizza, sandwiches and beer, as well as several other local places for you to enjoy.
The resort is a short drive to great shopping and Luaus, Whalers Village, Napili, Kapalua Bay, and the marine reserve at Honolua Bay.
*Note: Kaanapali Shores charges $9.95/day for parking. The Fitness Center is $10.00 per day.

Cons: North-facing condo receives no sun. Wind howls through balcony doors and is quite loud. View is mostly of neighboring building. Front door is a bit tough to open.
- The view was definitely not "a partial ocean view"! One had to stand in the right corner of the balcony, lean out, and look sideways. More a hills or tree view, a parking lot view, a trash pickup and loading area.
- The door lock was a real problem.Sometimes over 5 minutes to get in.
- The kitchen counter had a long nasty, broken and very sharp edge, right over the dishwasher. This was alarming.
- There were nothing in the kitchen to serve or bake anything in. Only 4 very small bowls and 4 plates. Plenty of utensils and glasses though.
The Realtor was nice enough to bring some glass bowls and a baking dish, which helped.
- When I tried to draw the curtains, upon pulling the rods to open the curtains, 2 of them fell off and the curtains hung down.
I did get the curtains hooked up again, by standing on a chair, but not the rods.
- The garbage disposal did not work, I am sure I used the right switch under the sink. Consequently, the sink stopped up easily.
- The bathmat in the bathroom, could only be described as a "stamp", and it did not look very clean. One had to move it around, as it covered almost nothing. The Realtor did bring a new, larger mat.
- The TV seems to be hooked up to the cheapest cable available.
It was not even possible to use "Movies on Demand" or watch any other movies as there was no DVD player.
For the price asked for this condo, it seems I could have gotten a room/condo in the hotel, for about the same, with housekeeping and all other services.
Distance to farmers market. Highly recommend.
